Hello Plainfield Moms! We do the research so you can save time and live your best mom life. Acerca de Plainfield, Illinois Meet Your Local Branch Mom Coordinator Meet Katie! Plainfield has been her home since 2012, where she resides with her husband and three adorable children. A University of Illinois alum, Katie began her career as a high-school math teacher and volleyball coach at Neuqua Valley. When her little ones came into the picture, she transitioned into the role of a dedicated stay-at-home mom. Katie and her husband also own a small business called Board & Brush, a DIY art studio. From their inaugural location in Oswego, they've since expanded to include studios in Naperville, Downers Grove, and St. Charles. When she's not crafting wooden projects or wrangling her kids, Katie enjoys leisurely strolls with her two Yorkie puppies, sun-soaked days by the pool, and cozying up with a good movie.
