Lincoln Park gazebo downtown St. Charles on West Main Street between 4th & 5th Streets

Geneva

Concerts in the Park

LOCATION:  River Park, 151 N. River Ln., Geneva

DESCRIPTION: The Geneva Park District is offering its annual Concerts in the Park series this summer at River Park along the scenic Fox River, weather permitting. The free event will be held on Wednesdays in July, and all ages are invited to attend. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to River Park for an evening of live entertainment. Concerts will begin at 7:00 pm. Food and concessions will be available for purchase. Beverages from Penrose Brewery and Sunset Soda Co. will also be sold. River Park is located at 151 N. River Lane on the west side of the Fox River, just north of Route 38, and is wheelchair accessible. Parking is available on the street and in nearby city parking lots.

Concerts in Your Park is a Sunday evening summer music series for families and neighbors; each concert is held at a different neighborhood park. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a FREE evening of outdoor musical entertainment from 7:00-8:30 pm. Join your friends and neighbors for the musical event coming to your area.

Oswego

Concerts at PrairieFest

LOCATION:  Prairie Point Park, 4120 Plainfield Road, Oswego

DESCRIPTION: 

Thursday, June 12 kicks off with impressive vocal choirs from local high schools and the PrairieWinds Community Concert, a cherished tradition for Oswegoland musicians. The evening heats up with performances by local band Marlon and the Shakes, followed by the electrifying Prince Experience, the country’s most dynamic Prince Tribute band.

​

Friday, June 13 features local band Riplock. Folks are still talking about their performance that brought down the house at the Sandwich Fair, and now they’re coming to PrairieFest. Riplock will open for an exciting headlining performance by country music stars Runaway June. Known for their rich harmonies and fiery bluegrass hits, the band was the first all-female trio in over a decade to break into the Top 20 on the Billboard charts with “Buy My Own Drinks.”

​

Saturday, June 14 brings Oswego’s favorite Father’s Day band, the American English Beatles Tribute Band, followed by the high-energy, locally led Fecto Glen. This amazing night culminates with a performance by the electrifying, Grammy-nominated Plain White T’s, who will have the whole festival singing along to their feel-good hits “Hey There, Delilah,” “Rhythm of Love,” and “1,2,3,4.”

​

Sunday, June 15 continues the musical celebration with Conjunto Atardecer, bringing their vibrant Duranguense style to the stage. Celebrate Father’s Day with great music and one more ride on the Ferris Wheel!

DESCRIPTION: 

Get ready for a summertime tradition that features cold drinks, great food, and fabulous music! Naper Nights celebrate historic musical milestones with themed tribute concerts throughout the summer. Rock out with your community as you eat, drink, dance, and experience your favorite music from the 1960s to today. New this year, WAR is coming to Naper Settlement on July 19th to celebrate 50 years of their 1975 multi-platinum album, Why Can’t We Be Friends. Experience the electrifying sounds of the original street band performing your favorite hits including Low Rider, Spill the Wine, The Cisco Kid, and many more! An ATM is available near the Naper Settlement bandstand.

Pack a lunch, bring sunglasses and an umbrella, then join the fun on Tuesday mornings where you will be treated to a variety of exciting performances.  You may even become a part of the act.  Performances are geared to the young and young at heart.

For over 30 years, music has been a treasured part of Cantigny’s summer. We’ve loved welcoming friends—old and new—to enjoy live performances in the park. As we look ahead, we’re making some changes to keep this tradition strong for years to come.

​

We’ll continue presenting great live music in a beautiful outdoor setting, with a fresh location and time that allows for cooler evenings and a lively atmosphere to experience the joy of live music. The central location will allow guests to enjoy a variety of delicious food and beverage options before or during concerts at Cantigny’s Beer Garden and Cafe.

​

This evolution is designed to bring even more people together to enjoy the magic of live music at Cantigny. We can’t wait to share this next chapter with you!

Summer Concerts in the Park

LOCATION:  Wednesdays at Wing Park (1010 Wing Street) & at Lords Park (100 Oakwood Blvd.) in Elgin

DESCRIPTION: 

Concerts in the Park are back for 2025! All concerts begin at 7:00 pm and run until 8:30 pm. Location alternates between the Wing Park Bandshell (1010 Wing St.) and the Lords Park Pavilion (100 Oakwood Blvd). A food truck will be available before and during each concert. Patrons are encouraged to bring their blankets and lawn chairs for a music-filled night! In case of bad weather, the event will be canceled.   Follow the City of Elgin Facebook page or check the website for weather related updates.

Arbor Evenings 

LOCATION:  The Morton Arboretum

DESCRIPTION: 

This summer, make Wednesday nights special with friends and family during Arbor Evenings live music series at The Morton Arboretum. Enjoy dancing, food and beverages, lawn games and a a sunset on Frost Hill.

​

EVENT DETAILS:
Admission into the Arboretum and Arbor Evenings will begin at 5:15 p.m. Music is from 6 to 8 p.m. Attendees can purchase drinks, ice cream, and menu items from a variety of food trucks each week.

Accessible parking is available one-third to one-quarter mile from the event venue, and there is limited accessible seating near the concert area.

​

Advance ticket purchase is required for all attendees, including children of members, as the event capacity is limited. Ticket packages are not available this year.

In the event of severe weather, ticket holders will be notified by email and given the option to rebook their tickets to another date, without charge.
