Pottawatomie Park

NEW LOCATION: Langum Park, 7th & Madison in downtown St. Charles

DATE: July 4, 2023 | 6pm, fireworks at DARK


FEATURES: St. Charles Park District, in partnership with the City of St. Charles, will host an extraordinary fireworks display on Monday, July 4 at DARK. When the sun goes down, the night sky lights up with an ooh- and aah-worthy festival of colors, lights and sounds. But before the boom-and-sizzle of fireworks supply the soundtrack to the 4th of July celebration, the Feel Good Party Band will take the stage in the historic pavilion at 6pm until the start of the fireworks extravaganza at dark. Just a single dose of this fun and energetic tribute band will cure an ailing for whatever you got. Digging deep into the vast catalog of the 80s & 90s, these guys inject new life into timeless music providing the perfect party jam. *Warning side effects may include: excessive dancing, hand clapping, and cheering resulting in possible sore throats, achy legs and unwanted sweating. ($10 parking for non-residents)


St. Charles

Batavia High School

LOCATION: Batavia High School Baseball Field OR Engstrom Park (326 Millview Drive) are great viewing spots!

DATE: July 4 at 9:30p.  In case of inclement weather, fireworks will be held on the next clear evening.


FEATURES: The band 'The Blind Roosevelts' will begin performing at 6pm, followed by the Batavia Community Band at 8:15p leading up to the Sky Concert!  The fireworks show is coordinated with a soundtrack!



Bartlett Fireworks 

LOCATION:  Community Park (South Bartlett Road), Bartlett

DATE:  July 4, 2024 at 9:15pm


FEATURES:  The Annual Bartlett Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza will take place on Thursday July 4th 2024 at Community Park located near the intersection of South Bartlett Road and Stearns Road.  The fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:15pm and finish at approximately 9:45pm. ​​

Help keep the community looking beautiful and safe. Plan ahead: bring a plastic bag with you to place all your disposables in.  The Bartlett 4th of July Committee will be passing out garbage bags to spectators in efforts to help keep the festival grounds clean and easier to pick up after the fireworks. Sparkler sticks, glass bottles, and other debris are often left in the community field and are not only an eyesore, but a safety hazard to others around you.  Please bag any garbage you have and place by or in a garbage can. Thank you for doing your part to keep it safe and fun for everyone!

The Bartlett Police Department will be conducting traffic control at certain intersections along South Bartlett Road and Stearns Road after the fireworks show.  Motorists in the general vicinity will experience heavy travel times due to the large amount of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Traffic is VERY heavy during this time and parking is limited. 

All vehicles exiting onto South Bartlett Road north of Stearns Road will be directed northbound towards Devon Avenue.  All vehicles exiting onto South Bartlett Road south of Stearns Road will be directed southbound towards Schick Road.  All vehicles exiting onto Stearns Road west of South Bartlett Road will be directed westbound towards IL Route 59.  All vehicles exiting onto Stearns Road east of South Bartlett Road will be directed eastbound towards County Farm Road.  Please be aware no vehicles will be allowed to drive through the intersection at South Bartlett Road and Stearns Road.



Elburn Fireworks Show

LOCATION:  Elburn Lions Park, Elburn, IL

DATE:  Dusk, July 6, 2024 (Rain date July 7)


FEATURES:  The Elburn Lions Club will offer food and non-alcoholic drinks for sale near the viewing area. Attendees are encouraged to patronize local businesses that will be open prior to and after the show. Non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks will also be sold in the clubhouse, though alcoholic drinks will not be permitted to leave the facility. Alcohol, dogs, guns, coolers and grills are not permitted on the park grounds. This year will feature our Lions food tent and our Leos food tent.



Festival Park

LOCATION:  Festival Park, 132 S. Grove Avenue, Elgin

DATE: July 4 , 2024

Parade at 9am, Food trucks at 4pm, Concert at 7pm, Fireworks at 9:20pm



The City of Elgin is excited to celebrate the Fourth of July with a parade, concert and fireworks, all occurring on Tuesday, July 4. This year's theme is "90s Throwback."

Food trucks suited for various tastes will be parked on Grove street adjacent to Festival Park starting at 4:00 p.m. A free concert featuring various live music acts from across the United States will take place at Festival Park, located at 132 S Grove Avenue at 7:00 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy this all day event. No outside alcohol or pets will be allowed at the concert and fireworks. The event concludes with a spectacular fireworks show beginning at approximately 9:20 p.m. and lasting approximately 20-30 minutes.



Naperville Salute

LOCATION:  Frontier Park, 3380 Cedar Glade Drive, Naperville

DATE:  July 4, 2024 at dusk


FEATURES: The Naperville Salute is our Family-Friendly Independence Day Hometown Celebration, centered around our appreciation for Veterans, Active Military, First Responders and their Families. The Salute blends community, local entertainment, and family fun. The footprint will encompass Rotary Hill July 5-7, 2024, along the Riverwalk in downtown Naperville.



Aurora Fireworks

LOCATION: RiverEdge Park, 360 N Broadway Avenue, Aurora

DATE: July 3, 2024 at 9:45pm



Join the City of Aurora as we celebrate Independence Day by living up to our "City of Lights" name with a spectacular fireworks display on the evening of Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024, in downtown Aurora!


Best viewing is available at RiverEdge Park (gates opening at 6:00 PM) and McCullough Park.


RiverEdge Park (360 N Broadway Ave, Aurora IL 60505)

DJ Suave Smooth will be spinning at RiverEdge Park from 6:00 PM - 9:45 PM.


McCullough Park (150 W Illinois Ave, Aurora, IL 60506)

DJ Pena will be spinning at McCullough Park from 6:00 PM - 9:45 PM.


Wilder Park and Promenade (350 N River St, Aurora, IL 60506)

Accessible by foot by both parks, Wilder Park and Promenade will host a food truck court full of food vendors for fireworks spectators! Food trucks will begin selling at 5:00 PM!



Wheaton Independence Day Celebration

LOCATION: Graf Park, 1855 Manchester Rd, Wheaton

DATE: July 3, 2024 from 5:30pm - 9:30pm


FEATURES: Fireworks are currently set to start at dusk (approximately 9 pm). The evening’s event will include lawn games, concessions, Carnival, DJ, and giveaways. A local scout troop will provide a flag ceremony in Graf Park before the fireworks show.



Sandwich Fireworks

LOCATION: 1401 Suydam Road, Sandwich, IL

DATE: July 6, 2024 at DUSK



The Sandwich Park District is pleased to present the annual fireworks display located at the Sandwich Fairgrounds. Food trucks and vendors will be onsite. Bring your blankets and chairs and save your spot for a great night of family fun for all ages to enjoy. Festivities including live entertainment, music, food, games and fireworks. The fairgrounds open at 3:00P. Admission $10 per vehicle CASH ONLY .

Rain Date: July 7th – Watch facebook/website for details regarding weather cancellations.

Independence Day Fireworks

LOCATION: Prairie Point Community Park, 4120 Plainfield Rd, Oswego

DATE: July 4, 2023 | 9:30p


FEATURES: Oswego’s annual Fourth of July Fireworks Display will be held at dusk, approximately 9:30 p.m., on July 4 at Prairie Point Park. The rain date is scheduled for July 5. Limited parking will be available at the park itself.



Yorkville Fireworks

LOCATION:  Rt 47 and Countryside Parkway, Yorkville

DATE:  July 4, 2024 at Dusk 



Join the United City of Yorkville in a spectacular Independence Day Fireworks show on Tuesday, July 4!  The fireworks will begin at dusk and will be shot off near the corner of Rt 47 and Countryside Parkway.

Please note that Countryside Parkway will be partially shut down west bound between the Hampton Inn and Goodwill and East Bound between the Hampton Inn and McHugh Rd. Access to Goodwill and the Hampton Inn will not be obstructed.


Yorkville American Legion Parking Lot (9054 E Veterans Parkway, Yorkville)
Looking for a great place to watch the Yorkville Fireworks?  Head over to the Yorkville American Legion to secure one of the best spots in town!  Open to the public. Yorkville American Legion is located at 9054 East Veterans Parkway, Yorkville, IL 60560. 



Fireworks and Community Event

LOCATION:  Meadowdale Park, Dundee

DATE: June 24, 2023 | 6 pm- -9pm



Enjoy the best fireworks show in the area! Prior to the show, join us for a community event with entertainment, food vendors, and community partners.
Fireworks: 9:30 pm (Fireworks may begin 30 min. earlier or later depending on weather conditions)

NOTE: The fireworks' rain-out date is Sunday, June 25, at approximately 9:30 pm.

Assistance with the event will be provided by the Village of Carpentersville Police, Fire, and Public Works.
