FEATURES:
In 2026 Swedish Days will be held June 24-28. Geneva Swedish Days is 76 years old this year and celebrates the heritage of Swedish immigrants who settled in the area. Craft beer tent, a carnival, a Kids’ Day, nightly entertainment and a parade are part of the festivities. Merchants host special sales and in-store events, as well as sponsoring main festival programs and donating in-kind services. Food stands throughout the downtown area tempt visitors with Swedish and American menus.

For over 20 years, the juried Geneva Arts Fair has risen in attendance and notoriety. The fine arts show showcases fine artisans from around the country in a host of mediums from 10AM-5PM.
Look for the white tent on Franklin Street among the awesome display of trees, shrubs and plants in Plandscape Inc.’s Arts Garden at Third and Franklin. Don’t miss live acoustic music on Saturday and Sunday from 12-2PM.

FEATURES: The Sandwich Fair, first started as an annual livestock show in DeKalb County. Held yearly, Wednesday–Sunday after Labor Day since 1888, it is one of the oldest continuing county fairs in the state of Illinois. Large crowds stroll throughout the beautiful tree lined grounds, all five days of the fair, which has something of interest for everyone.

FEATURES: In 1933 the Elburn Lions Club began an annual event known as “A Day in the Park”, which later became known as Elburn Days. The Elburn Days Festival is the largest fundraiser for the Elburn Lions Club. We count on the proceeds from this event to help us meet our charitable goals.
The Elburn Lions Club sponsors the event and the proceeds support Elburn Lions Park and Elburn Lions Charities. Our charitable projects include eye screenings, service dogs, programs aiding the visually and hearing impaired, juvenile diabetes research, and other local community aid. Each year, Elburn Lions Club members, their families, and other members of the community donate hundreds of hours to make this event an annual success.

Featured items usually include things like strawberry BBQ sauces, deep fried strawberries on a stick, chocolate strawberry popcorn, strawberry kabobs, strawberry jams, strawberry fudge, funnel cakes with strawberries, strawberry smoothies, strawberry blintz, strawberry banana Nutella crepes, chocolate covered strawberries, strawberry donuts, strawberry shakes, strawberry ice cream, chocolate strawberry sundaes, and much more. A wide variety of non-strawberry-centric vendors will also be on-hand also dishing out other summertime delights. For those who like to mix it up, Strawberry Fest includes live music and family entertainment. Non-stop tunes, from solo acts to touring bands, on multiple stages will ensure there’s never a dull moment for teens and grown-ups, while complimentary children’s games and activities will capture the kids’ attention just the same. As in year’s past, a classic carnival with everyone’s favorite rides will thrill the young and young at heart.

The City of Elgin is excited to celebrate the Fourth of July with a parade, concert and fireworks, all occurring on Thursday, July 4, 2026.
Food trucks suited for various tastes will be parked on Grove street adjacent to Festival Park starting at 4:00 p.m. A free concert featuring various live music acts from across the United States will take place at Festival Park, located at 132 S Grove Avenue at 7:00 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy this all day event. No outside alcohol or pets will be allowed at the concert and fireworks. The event concludes with a spectacular fireworks show beginning at approximately 9:20 p.m. and lasting approximately 20-30 minutes.

We've got tons of activities to keep you entertained - from slides to a giant jumping pillow. And don't forget to treat yourself to our delicious apple cider donuts and pure apple cider. Whether you're a kid or young at heart, Woody's Orchard is the ultimate destination for fall fun!

There is NO pick your own Strawberry patch. Strawberries & strawberry products will be available for purchase at the farm.
