Naper Settlement

Naper Settlement is a nationally accredited, award-winning outdoor history museum set on 13 magnificent acres in the heart of Naperville. Free for Naperville residents, the museum interprets the community’s history from its founding all the way to today. The museum’s thirty-one historic structures, including a Victorian era mansion and working blacksmith shop, feature costumed interpreters who connect the past to the present. Interactive exhibits, special events, educational programming, and the Harvard Early Learning Playscape -- complete with playground, sensory prairie garden, and summer Splash Pad – welcome patrons to connect with the community and its roots.
