NAPERVILLE & PLAINFIELD:

Naperville Farmstand sells PRE-PICKED APPLES fresh from our Oswego apple orchard! Since we have apple varieties that ripen throughout the late summer and fall, we offer a large selection of your favorite varieties.

OSWEGO:

Oswego Farmstand sells APPLES you can pick right off the trees in our Oswego apple orchard!

  • Apple picking begins in late August and is available daily. It continues until late October, while supplies last.

  • We also sell pre-picked apples for your convenience. Since we have apple varieties that ripen throughout the late summer and fall, we offer a large selection of your favorite varieties.

 OTHER OSWEGO FEATURES: 

  • Farmstand open daily with homemade apple cider donuts (in season), baked goods, jarred items, and fall favorites

  • Saturday & Sunday Fall Festivities - corn maze, farm animals, kids’ play area, wagon rides

  • U-Pick Pumpkin Patch open daily starting end of September

Typical Harvest Schedule: 

  • June - asparagus (when available)

  • Early July - cucumbers, zucchini, yellow squash, onions, potatoes, watermelon, Kentucky tomatoes

  • Mid July - sweet corn, green beans, hot and sweet peppers, peaches, blueberries

  • Late July - local tomatoes

  • Late August - early apple varieties (refer to Apples page for variety availability)

  • Mid September - pumpkins, winter squash, additional apple varieties (refer to Apples page for variety availability)

FEE :  

$10/person for ¼ peck bag (about 3 lbs)

$20/person for ½ peck bag (about 5–6 lbs)

$40/person for 1 peck bag (about 10–12 lbs) $8 per person for 1/4 peck bag

Apple Orchard is late August through October 

FEATURES: Nearly 20 acres of prime strawberries for your enjoyment! Picking your own strawberries at Stade’s Farm & Market is a great way to spend a summer day with your family and friends.

Note: An $10 minimum apple purchase per person is required to enter the apple orchard (ages two years and under are free). This means that every person entering the apple orchard must at least purchase a 1/4 Peck Bag (you may purchase a larger size and apply the $10 minimum toward the larger bag). Although there IS NOT an admission fee to pick apples, just to be clear, each person must make a minimum $10 purchase to enter the orchard.

Bags are included in the apple picking price, and picking is only allowed using the bags Stade’s provides.

Heider's Berry Farm

LOCATION:  1106 N. Queen Anne Rd., Woodstock

HOURS: 8AM - 5PM DAILY, while supply allows

FEATURES: Our land has been farmed by Heiders for five generations, starting as a typical Midwestern farm with dairy, hogs, sheep, chickens, corn, oats and hay. From 1972 to 1986, we operated the largest berry farm in Illinois. After 25 years of landscaping, we're back as Heider's Berry Farm, on a smaller scale, to provide quality fruit and friendly service. We invite you to spend time on our farm in Woodstock, IL. Wander into our fields to enjoy a true farm experience, all natural with no admission or parking fee.
